Busy Channel Lockout (BCLO)
BCLO is used to prevent the interference with the on-going conversation. If BCLO is on, the radio will be remaining in receiving status even with PTT pressed to avoid interfering with others on conversation.
Time-out Timer (TOT)
When TOT is on and the transmission exceeds the preset time limit, the radio will stop after warning tone. TOT can prevent the radio from any potential damage caused by overlong transmission.
Rapid Log-on Search & Background Search
Multi-scanning in different setting helps the radio search out the base station quickly. The radio could as well log-on the base station with strongest signal at any time. PT-6800 could even switch to different system manually according to preset 64 system code with alias.
Customizable Function Menu
The function menu used for settings on most functions could be customized by programming software according to different authorization.
Contact List & Home Address
The radio could save up to 200 contacts in the contact list for quickly dial and Caller ID service. And home address feature allows one-key dial-out while stand-by.

Remote Kill/Activate
If the radio is killed, all attempts on operation by user, except power on/off, will be ignored. The radio will be activated only when it received the correct instruction from MPT trunking control center.
Dynamic Grouping
For temporarily communication among radios from different groups, the base station could quickly group those radios as a new team by sending a remote instruction.
Short Data Message
32 short data messages enable more convenience in daily use. Message with up to 100 characters could be read from large LCD.
Call List
Up to 10 last dialed numbers could be saved even in power failure for redialing. And there are also 10 phone number could be preprogrammed for quick dialing.
Versatile Calls
With support of the MPT trunking system, PT-6800 could realize short data message call, individual/group call, broadcasting call, priority call, PABX/PSTN call etc.
Call Restriction
To increase the conversation efficiency among group, the radio could be programmed to call authorized units or groups only. The radio could be set as non-disturb status or to transfer all incoming call to assigned unit for special conditions.
